Caz's Chowhouse!

Last night was a return to a Tulsa favorite, Caz's Chowhouse at 18 E. Brady Street. We discovered Caz's a couple of years ago and have been bringing our friends and out of town guests ever since. It has become such a favorite with my work crew that almost all of our vendors get treated to Caz's when they come to town. My boss is a huge fan.

Here is why: CHEESE FRIES!!! Absolutely the best in town. Many of us our OSU fans and alumni and have been spoiled by the cheese fries at Eskimo Joes in Stillwater. Here is the big news - Caz's are just as good as Joe's if not better!!! Plus they are a much bigger portion so lots to share or to scarf down all by yourself. And don't skimp on the ranch dressing!

Caz's is down-home cooking at its finest. From great burgers and killer sandwiches to comfort food entrees, everyone is bound to find a favorite. Check out the chicken and waffles with black-eyed peas. I know, it sounds bizarre but you'll be surprised how many folks love it. The chicken fried steak is just enormous and you'll go crazy for their sides. The mac and cheese is the best in town and their spicy slaw will make your taste buds take notice.

For a real taste of Tulsa I recommend Caz's. It's a great place to enjoy Oklahoma style cooking and for introducing out of towners. It is always a hit for us and our guests and I think you'll find something to love too. Enjoy!
